May 22,  After making a mark in the international market, Logo Fashion Industries launched their second outlet in the country at Jhamsikhel on Saturday.  Logo Industries is a group of companies operating in the fashion business in the Middle East and Europe for the past 23 years. Since 1997, Logo Industries Nepal was a production hub for the European market manufacturing more than 4,000 pieces of garments per day and employing nearly 550 people. However, due to the political insurgency and unstable government, all the activities were stopped and the production unit moved completely to Dubai, UAE in the year 2003. The company had been operating from Dubai, Cyprus to Nepal, until now.“After many years of anticipation, we are finally working in Nepal, which had always been the dream. Our main goal here is to change the scene of Nepali fashion, at an affordable price. The market is heavily dependent on Chinese products which aren’t even legitimate. We want to change that. We also want to bring about overall development in the country by providing employment and empowerment opportunities to women, as we focus on providing employment opportunities to women,” says Sonam Muktan Logo, Owner of Logo Fashion Industries.Besides the launch of the outlet, the event also saw a live musical performance by Ashish Gurung.  All the clothes are designed in Germany and manufactured in Nepal. The outlet is at the premises of the old Vesper building, which has been refurbished after it was torn down by the earthquakes of last year. This event was coordinated by Darkwood Entertainment.
